Job summary

Volex seeks an experienced Regional Method Engineering Manager to lead development, standardization and continuous improvement of manufacturing methods across regional sites. The role focuses on industrialization, NPI, transfers, operational excellence and automation to enable scalable, standardized manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
8–12 years of experience in Method/Manufacturing/Industrialization or Process Engineering.
Experience in automotive manufacturing and/or cable harness production preferred.
Experience in Tier 1 automotive environment is advantageous.
Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing is preferred.
Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA and Control Plans.
Proven experience in manufacturing process development and industrialization.
Experience in automation, process optimization and production efficiency improvement.
Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent English and Turkish are required.

Responsibilities

Lead development, standardization and continuous improvement of manufacturing methods across regional sites.
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for high-mix, low-volume cable harness production.
Define manufacturing concepts, process flows, equipment requirements, tooling and process parameters.
Develop standardized work instructions, SOPs and manufacturing standards.
Ensure processes are scalable, efficient and transferable across locations.
Lead engineering activities throughout APQP and NPI processes.
Ensure feasibility and readiness for new product launches.
Lead process trials, pilot builds and ramp-up activities.
Promote robust, repeatable processes before production transfer.
Drive improvements in OEE, productivity and cycle time.
Identify and lead automation and digitalization opportunities.
