Job summary

Wabtec Corporation in Turkey seeks a Technical Supporter to serve Metro/Public Railway customers as the primary technical interface, collaborating with regional teams to deliver high‑quality service and customer satisfaction.

You will respond to technical requests, assist sales with insights, maintain product knowledge, visit customers on site, and help plan events while traveling between cities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electro‑Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product engineering, systems maintenance, technical support, technical project management, or engineering of technically sophisticated products.
• Strong knowledge of railway platforms and systems; willingness to continuously learn.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with ownership, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to manage deadlines independently.
• Team player with effective communication skills.
• Fluent Turkish and English.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP systems.
• No military service obligation.
• Willingness to travel regularly between cities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for local Metro/Public Railway customers.
• Maintain close customer relationships through regular communication and on-site visits.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting defined quality standards and procedures.
• Identify customer needs and provide technical recommendations to support Sales.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of Wabtec products and services used locally.
• Collaborate with Field Services and SISCO Engineering to resolve issues and claims.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers.
• Support Sales in preparing customer offers per technical guidelines.
• Plan and execute regular customer visits to monitor usage and satisfaction.
• Maintain technical documentation related to customer platforms and products.
• Support demand forecasting through technical input.
• Assist in planning local technical or specialist events.
• Resolve technical disputes and warranty claims.
• Conduct product repairs and overhaul services and prepare service reports.
