Teknasyon seeks an experienced R&D Grant Manager to lead cross-functional projects from idea to execution, building grant applications for TÜBİTAK TEYDEB and Horizon Europe, and coordinating with public bodies. You will plan scope, budget, and risk, monitor incentives worldwide, and report progress to senior management.

The role requires 8+ years in R&D project management, strong communication, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset in a fast-paced tech environment. Hybrid setup in Istanbul.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Lead R&D initiatives within the CFO Office from first idea to final review, owning planning, execution and results.
• Build and run grant applications for TÜBİTAK TEYDEB and EU programs such as Horizon Europe, Eureka, Eurostars, ITEA and Celtic, guiding the team through every milestone and reporting cycle.
• Act as our main point of contact with TÜBİTAK and other public bodies, handling contracts and organizing TEYDEB audit processes.
• Plan scope, timing, cost and risk for each project, and keep R&D budgets on track in partnership with Finance.
• Scan the incentive landscape in Türkiye and abroad, from export support to international market development grants, and make sure we benefit from every R&D incentive available to us.
• Catch issues before they turn into blockers, raise them with the right people and come with practical fixes.
• Turn project progress into clear reports, presentations, workshops and demos for senior management and external partners.
• Partner with Finance, Product, Engineering and other teams so R&D work moves in step with company priorities.
• Grow our network at European Commission and industry matchmaking events to find new consortium partners.
• Use market research and technology trends to guide where we invest in R&D and how we improve our products and processes.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 8+ years of experience in R&D project or grant management, with a proven record of running cross-functional projects end to end.
• A track record of securing and running TÜBİTAK TEYDEB and EU-funded projects (Horizon Europe, Eureka, Eurostars, ITEA, Celtic).
• A good grasp of public incentive schemes in Türkiye and abroad, and of how R&D budgets, audits and reporting work.
• Strong project management skills: planning, scope, cost, risk and change management, with close attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence reporting to senior management and representing the company externally.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make risks and issues visible early.
• A strong sense of ownership and a solution-oriented mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across functions.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana) is a plus. A PMP or Agile/Scrum certification is a plus.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Able to use AI tools effectively.
