Job summary

Trenkwalder Turkey is seeking a Quality Control Team Leader to oversee incoming QC of spare parts, manage customer complaints, and drive supplier quality initiatives across domestic and international channels.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering/quality disciplines, 5+ years in quality management, and strong leadership with English fluency for global communications. Collaboration with Purchasing and Operations is essential for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Management, preferably within spare parts distribution, warehousing, automotive, or industrial sectors
• Strong knowledge of quality control, inspection, measurement, and supplier quality processes
• Proven experience in customer complaint management and root cause analysis
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
• Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming quality control processes, including dimensional, technical, and visual inspections of spare parts
• Lead customer return and complaint investigations, ensuring timely resolution and implementation of corrective actions
• Evaluate and manage domestic and international customer quality claims
• Oversee sample inspection and qualification processes for newly sourced products
• Manage supplier quality issues and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers
• Prepare and analyze monthly and annual quality performance reports, including returns, scrap rates, and quality KPIs
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate closely with Purchasing
• Warehouse, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure compliance with quality standards
