Job summary

Randstad Türkiye seeks a Senior Customer Quality Engineer based in Bursa (TEKNOSAB) for an automotive partner. You will manage customer quality and claims for OEMs and Tier-1s, lead APQP/PPAP activities, and drive CAPA with production teams.

The role requires 5–6 years in automotive QA, experience with Ford FSP and Hyundai portals, and strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and 8D problem solving. Fluent English is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out customer quality and claim management for OEM and Tier-1 customers via portals.
• Participate in APQP and PPAP from project kick-off to SOP.
• Prepare and manage Process FMEA, Control Plans, and test instructions.
• Coordinate root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, Pareto) and implement CAPA with production and process teams.
• Lead internal, external, and OEM audits in line with IATF 16949.
• Ensure implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 45001 in related areas.
• Conduct SW parameter control schemes and provide guidance to production floor.
• Authority to stop shipment or stop production for critical non-conformities.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Customer Quality Engineer based in Bursa (TEKNOSAB) for our international business partner operating in the automotive sector.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out customer quality and claim management processes for OEM and Tier-1 customers (primarily Ford FSP and Hyundai) through customer portals.
• Actively participating in APQP and PPAP processes from project kick-off to serial production (SOP).
• Preparing, updating, and managing Process FMEA, Control Plans, and test instructions.
• Coordinating root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, Pareto) and implementing CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) in cooperation with production and process teams.
• Leading and preparing for internal, external, and OEM customer audits in line with IATF 16949 requirements.
• Ensuring the effective implementation of integrated quality systems including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, and ISO 45001 in related areas.
• Conducting SW parameter control schemes and providing necessary technical guidance to the production floor.
• Having the authority to initiate stop-shipment or stop-production activities in case of critical non-conformities.

Qualifications

• Graduated from Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical Materials Engineering, or related technical departments of universities.
• At least 5-6 years of experience in the Automotive sector (preferably in Tier‑1 supplier industry).
• Solid experience in automotive fluid transfer systems (pipes, hoses, cooling/fuel/brake systems) or plastic extrusion/metal forming processes is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in Ford FSP (Ford Supplier Portal), Q1 requirements, and Hyundai customer portals.
• Proficient in APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, QRQC, FMEA, and 8D problem‑solving methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 Quality Management System.
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal) to coordinate with global group companies and international customers.
• Strong analytical thinking, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to convince/manage customers under pressure.
