Job summary

Miorec İnsan Kaynakları A.Ş. is assisting in sourcing for an experienced Production Engineer to lead production operations in an FMCG environment. The role focuses on achieving targets, driving improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations and ensure production targets are achieved.
• Monitor production KPIs, analyze performance results, and implement improvement actions.
• Manage production planning, capacity utilization, and inventory levels effectively.
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production operations.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, food safety, and quality standards and support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize costs.
• Lead, coach, and develop production teams while supporting performance management and employee development.
• Drive effective utilization of ERP/MRP systems and contribute to production digitalization initiatives.
• Ensure accurate production reporting and support data-driven decision-making.
• Identify operational risks and improvement opportunities and take proactive actions to enhance overall production performance.

For our client, an internationally operating company in the food industry for which we provide consultancy services, we are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to lead production operations and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

General Qualifications;

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production, with at least 2 years of experience in FMCG manufacturing,
• Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity management, inventory control, and supply chain processes,
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems,
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies,
• Good understanding of food safety, quality, and EHS standards,
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken,
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills,
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities,
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
