Job summary

Ülker, a leader in Türkiye's food industry, is seeking a Production Engineer for the pladis Türkiye Akyurt Ankara Factory. You will track production requirements, align with the production plan, and act to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

pladis is looking for Production Engineer for our pladis Türkiye Akyurt Ankara Factory.

What will be your key deliverables?

• Tracking the necessary requirements to ensure the continuity of production, checking compliance with the production plan, and taking necessary actions.
• Executing production in the most efficient manner within the scope of production plans, at the desired time and quantity, acting in accordance with quality/food safety, occupational health and safety (OHS), and production process standards.
• Providing suggestions for the improvement of facilities and processes, and following up on the implementation of approved practices.
• Ensuring task distribution and managing teams effectively.
• Conducting regular inspections of the areas of responsibility.
• Managing and supporting Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Taking necessary actions regarding efficiency, quality, and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS).
• Preparing reports related to the responsible factory/machinery.
• Following up on audit findings and creating action plans.
• Organizing and monitoring R&D trials.

What do you need for this role?

• Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in production/food production, specifically in production processes, maintenance, or project management.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills in line with the position's requirements.
• Experience in achieving and periodically monitoring production performance targets (KPIs).
• Experience in managing facility machinery/equipment, workforce, and suppliers/subcontractors.
• Open to learning, prone to teamwork, analytical, and highly collaborative.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP applications.
