Job summary

Volvo Group in Istanbul (Türkiye) is seeking a Product Manager to drive the truck product strategy across Türkiye & Middle East. You will be the main product contact for importers, provide technical guidance, and support market-responsive product plans with local adaptations.

The role requires 5+ years in product management or related fields, strong analytical and communication skills, and fluency in English. Based at Kozyatağı office with no travel restrictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical/Mechatronics/Automotive.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, Technical Sales, or Commercial Vehicle industry.
• English fluency (written and spoken).

• Support the implementation of the Volvo Trucks product strategy and optimize truck offerings for Türkiye & Middle East.
• Act as primary product contact for importers, providing guidance and best practices.
• Coordinate market requirements and support product plans and local adaptations.
• Collect and analyse market trends, customer needs, competitors and regulations.
• Provide technical and commercial product support validating vehicle specs and customer applications.
• Support sales planning, positioning, segmentation, pricing and launches.
• Develop product training and maintain product information and sales support systems.

• Support the implementation of the Volvo Trucks product strategy and optimize the truck product offer across Türkiye & Middle East in line with business and market requirements.
• Act as the primary product contact for importers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and best practices to strengthen product competence and positioning.
• Act as the interface between Importers and Volvo Group Product Management by consolidating market requirements, coordinating product topics, and supporting product plans and local adaptations.
• Collect and analyse market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, technology developments, and regulations to support product and business decisions.
• Provide technical and commercial product support by validating vehicle specifications, customer applications, and technical solutions.
• Support sales planning, product positioning, segmentation, pricing, and new product launches.
• Build strong relationships with Importers and Body Builders by providing technical support, product training, and guidance on customer adaptations.
• Develop and deliver technical product training, manage product inquiries, and maintain product information and sales support systems.
• Support homologation, type approval, regulatory compliance, and local sourcing while promoting local production capabilities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Aftermarket, Importers, Body Builders, and Volvo Group Product Management to continuously improve the truck product offer based on market feedback and customer requirements.

Main reqiurements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, Technical Sales, or the Commercial Vehicle industry
• Experience with commercial vehicle products; direct sales and/or product management experience is an advantage
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• No travel restrictions
• This position is located at our Kozyatağı office
