Job summary

Saat & Saat is seeking a Product Development Manager/Executive to lead the product development process from concept to launch, coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders, and delivering collections aligned with brand expectations and commercial targets.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in product development or related functions, with strong English and a proven ability to manage end-to-end lifecycle across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Product Design, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product development, design, sourcing, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Ability to balance commercial objectives with design excellence and translate opportunities into products.
• Experience with manufacturers and suppliers, preferably Asia (China/Hong Kong).
• Proven project and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with in-house and external designers, agencies, and development partners.
• Advanced English proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects from concept to final production and market launch.
• Develop products that support commercial objectives and brand positioning.
• Identify new opportunities through market research and trend analysis.
• Prepare and manage product briefs for design partners.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, Foreign Trade, and Operations.
• Work with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality, cost, and timing targets.
• Monitor development timelines and manage risks related to sourcing and imports.
• Explore collaborations, licensing, and special collections to add portfolio value.
• Monitor product performance and drive portfolio improvements and innovations.
• Drive continuous improvement in product development processes and tools.
• Support seasonal collections, roadmaps, and long-term portfolio strategies.
• Ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to brand expectations.
