Job summary

Anadolu Isuzu seeks a Product Development (Drivetrain) Design Engineer to lead drivetrain design from concept through mass production. You will prepare specifications, validation plans, and design documentation while ensuring customer requirements are met.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, 3+ years in automotive, and experience with drivetrain systems and CAD tools. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers is essential, with a focus on innovation and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in automotive industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of drivetrain systems (transmission, differential, axle, driveshaft, reducer, e-axle).
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (CATIA/NX/SolidWorks).
• Understanding GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and technical drawing standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop drivetrain systems from concept to mass production.
• Prepare technical specifications, validation plans, and design documentation.
• Ensure customer technical requirements are integrated into designs.
• Support prototype build and validation testing activities.
• Collaborate with suppliers for technical evaluations and design alignment.
• Contribute to cost optimization and continuous improvement.

If You Also;

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry (preferred)
• Knowledge of drivetrain systems (transmission, differential, axle, driveshaft, reducer, e-axle, etc.)
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (preferably CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, or similar)
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and technical drawing standards
• Solid knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes (casting, forging, machining, etc.)
• F amiliarity with FEA/CAE analysis tools (preferred)
• Experience with product development methodologies (APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, etc.)
• Ability to prepare and review technical documentation in English
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and team-oriented mindset
• Knowledge of NVH principles
• Experience in validation and testing processes
• Previous involvement in global OEM projects
