Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join the Supply Chain department and report to the Procurement Manager. The role focuses on purchasing direct goods and services, optimizing cost, and coordinating with suppliers through SAP-driven processes.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in procurement, with strong English and solid MS Office skills. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Ariba is a plus, along with strong communication and analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably from an engineering department or Business Administration).
• Min. 2 years experience of procurement (preferably FMCG sector).
• Good command of written and verbal English.
• Good command of MS Office (knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Ariba is an asset).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical & reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible from purchasing of direct goods and service procurement.
• Provide financial advantage to the company by executing procurement activities in line with requested quality, quantity and time.
• Making short and long term contracts with the suppliers.
• Ensures alignment and approval from relevant stakeholders as required.
• Monitoring of supplier performance against agreed contract terms.
• Handles operational interaction with suppliers to ensure adherence to agreed contract.
• Coordinate the purchasing operations process in line with SAP.
• Create purchase orders with correct data and transmit to vendor with applicable documentation.
• Enrich and update supplier portfolio via market analysis.
• Manages day-to-day communication with suppliers.
• Handles routine commercial matters & supports day-to-day operational issue resolution.
