Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in procurement, purchasing, logistics, import/export, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of international purchasing, supplier management, import/export operations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office applications.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes including supplier sourcing, quotes, evaluations, contract negotiation, and PO management.
• Evaluate, qualify, and monitor supplier performance; develop alternative sourcing options.
• Coordinate domestic and international purchasing, logistics, import/export, customs clearance, and transportation.
• Follow up purchase orders, supplier confirmations, proforma invoices, delivery schedules, and related documentation in ERP.
• Ensure compliance with Incoterms, customs regulations, and foreign trade requirements.

Harmony Marine Solutions is a company based in Istanbul that specializes in providing detailed engineering and architectural coordination works for shipbuilding and building industries. We offer services such as project management, supply chain management, design and engineering consultancy, project lead consultancy, furniture design and production, marine prefabricated wet cabins, and building decorative works.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position within the Procurement Department,based in Kartal, Istanbul.

The Procurement & Logistics Responsible will be responsible for managing the entire procurement cycle, supplier relations, international purchasing activities, logistics operations, and import/export processes. The role requires close coordination with project management, production, finance, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier sourcing, quotation collection, commercial evaluation, contract negotiation, and purchase order management.
• Evaluate, qualify, and monitor supplier performance while developing alternative sourcing opportunities.
• Coordinate domestic and international purchasing, logistics, import/export, customs clearance, and transportation operations.
• Follow up purchase orders, supplier confirmations, proforma invoices, delivery schedules, and related documentation through the ERP system.
• Ensure compliance with Incoterms, customs regulations, foreign trade requirements, and company procedures.
• Monitor stock entries, invoices, procurement costs, and payment processes; provide regular reports to management.
• Maintain accurate procurement and logistics records and support continuous improvement activities within the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, import/export, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of international purchasing, supplier management, import/export operations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Valid driver's license and active driving experience.
