Job summary

MetLif is seeking an Automation Lead to join the automation development team. You will design, develop, test, and maintain automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, and related technologies to boost efficiency and reduce manual effort across business processes.

You will collaborate with business units and stakeholders to translate automation needs into scalable technical solutions, while contributing to continuous improvement of automation capabilities and governance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
At least 2 years of hands-on automation development experience, preferably with Power Platform.
Strong understanding of workflow design and end-to-end solution development.
Experience with Power Apps, connectors, approvals, forms, data integrations, and Power Platform components is a strong asset.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical automation designs.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Analyze automation requests, clarify requirements with stakeholders and analysts.
Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, and related tools.
Build reliable, scalable workflows to reduce manual workload and improve efficiency.
Develop supporting scripts or integrations using VBA, Java, or similar tools when needed.
Support the automation lifecycle from analysis to post-go-live support.
Maintain and troubleshoot existing automations to ensure stability.
Document automations with process logic, design, and user instructions.
Collaborate to apply development standards, reusability, security, and governance.
