Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Lead Azure Cloud Engineer to design, build, and automate secure cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure for enterprise-scale workloads.

You will drive IaC, CI/CD, observability, and AI-enabled cloud capabilities, collaborating with Architects, DevOps, Security, and Product teams to deliver scalable, resilient platforms. You will mentor engineers, help establish patterns for deployments, governance, and security, and contribute to platform engineering practices

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience architecting, implementing, and managing Azure cloud solutions within enterprise environments.
• Strong grasp of Azure networking, identity, governance, security, monitoring, and platform services.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, containers, container registries, ingress controllers, workload identity, autoscaling, monitoring, and container security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure including subscriptions, resource groups, networking, identity, governance, security, and platform services.
• Develop reusable Azure deployment patterns for apps, APIs, front-end workloads, microservices, containers, serverless services, data integrations, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines and IaC using Terraform and GitHub Actions across multi-environment deployments.
• Implement observability with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Container Insights; set up runbooks and alerting.
