Job summary

DeFacto is seeking a Payroll & HR Operations Specialist to manage payroll and personnel processes for Turkey store operations. The role requires strong knowledge of Turkish labor law, SAP Payroll, and MS Office, with attention to detail and English preferred.

You will ensure timely legal declarations, maintain accurate HR records, support recruitment and exit procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate processes and improve efficiency across 90+ countries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in payroll and personnel affairs.
• Knowledge of SAP Payroll Module and Turkish Labour Law.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute payroll and personnel processes.
• Manage personnel processes for Turkey store operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely legal declarations.
• Recruitment and exit procedures.
• Update HR system records and create personnel files.
• Correspond with official institutions and manage payroll-related notifications.
• Follow all legal regulations and notifications related to payroll and HR.
• Handle disciplinary processes.
• Oversee leave and health report processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field,
• At least 2 years of experience in payroll and personnel affairs,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications,
• Knowledge of SAP Payroll Module,
• Knowledge of Turkish Labor Law and Social Security Institution (SGK) legislation,
• Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy,
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills,
• A forward-thinking approach to process improvement and HR automation,
• A collaborative team player,
• Good command of English is preferred.

Basic Functions:

• Execution of payroll and personnel processes,
• Managing the personnel processes for Turkey store operations,
• Ensuring that all legal declarations are made accurately and on time,
• Recruitment and exit procedures,
• Updating the employee and organization information on the HR system in a timely and complete manner, creating and updating personnel files,
• Performing correspondence with official institutions and organizations and personnel operations,
• Following up all legal regulations, executing the processes in accordance with the regulations, making and following all other legal notifications within the scope of payroll and personnel transactions,
• Execution of disciplinary processes,
• Execution of leave and health report processes of employees.
