DeFacto is seeking a seasoned Fashion Designer to drive denim-focused concepts aligned with our brand for a global audience. You will monitor fashion trends, visit stores, and collaborate with the product team to refine ranges and costs while ensuring fit for our target customers.

The role requires strong English, travel readiness, and experience with major design tools; the candidate will contribute to cross-border projects and growth across 90+ countries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level design education with focus on apparel or fashion.
• Strong knowledge of denim products and fabric/materials.
• Experience aligning designs with target customer groups.
• Proven ability to follow world fashion trends and participate in fashion fairs abroad.
• Proficient in English; excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel abroad as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor global fashion trends and translate insights into product concepts.
• Conduct store visits and market analysis to identify viable range opportunities.
• Collaborate with product team on cost implications of designs.
• Participate in fit sessions to ensure designs meet customer needs.

• B.F.A. in relevant field,
• Minimum 5 years of experience,
• Especially experienced in denim,
• Able to make designs suitable to brand’s target customer group,
• Following world fashion trends closely, experienced about fashion fairs abroad,
• Good command of English,
• Proficient in using such computer programs as Adobe illustrator or Adobe Photoshop and etc,
• No obstacle to travel abroad.

Basic Functions:

• Following world fashion trends closely,
• Carrying out store visits and market analysis,
• Identifying suitable product range within the collection,
• Working together with product team about the cost of designed products,
• Attending fit works to ensure fits are appropriate for the target customer group.
