Job summary

DeFacto, a global fashion brand with a strong presence in 90+ countries, seeks an experienced internal auditor to perform operational, financial and compliance audits across Turkey and abroad. You will identify key risks, evaluate internal controls, and report findings with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in internal or external audit (preferably Big Four).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, MIS or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, reporting, and collaborative team-player skills.
• Excel proficiency; data analytics experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP and/or other ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; ability to conduct audit interviews and communicate with international stakeholders.
• Foreign language skills (Arabic, Russian) are assets.
• Willingness to travel regularly domestically and internationally.
• CIA certificate is a plus.

What Do We Expect from You?

Qualifications:

• Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to conduct audit interviews, prepare professional audit reports and communicate effectively with international stakeholders,
• Additional foreign language (Arabic, Russian language) skills will be considered an asset,
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to domestic and international operations,
• CIA certificate is an asset.

Basic Functions:

• Perform operational, financial and compliance audit engagements in line with the annual audit plan both in Turkey and abroad,
• Identify key risks and controls within business processes, review and evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of overall internal controls, governance, and risk management,
• Assess compliance of operational and financial activities with the laws, regulations, company strategy, policy/procedures during the audit engagements,
• Report audit findings and develop value-added recommendations to mitigate risks and improve internal controls and processes,
• Conduct follow up audits to ensure that management actions are implemented adequately and timely,
• Prepare and organize audit working papers with adequate documentation,
• Performs requested ad hoc audits and assists in special investigations and fraud audits.
