Job summary

Ford Otosan in Turkey seeks an MP&L Packaging Engineer to lead packaging projects from design through validation. You will define packaging materials and parts for transport, and work to improve logistics efficiency with packaging design.

You will collaborate with Development, Quality, and Supply Chain teams, and have opportunities to engage with global partners while staying current with packaging industry trends. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Industrial) is required.
• Packaging engineering and internal logistics experience is preferred.
• No travel restrictions.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Produce high-quality work.
• Team player with flexible approach.
• Good organizational ability; work efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute packaging-related projects from design through validation.
• Define packaging materials and vehicle parts for transportation.
• Ensure logistics efficiency with packaging design.
• Develop packaging innovations and savings for the production line.
• Assess packaging proposals and calculate investment for new projects.
• Support safety, quality and logistics issues related to packaging.
• Collaborate with Development, Quality, Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations.
• Engage with global teams and stay current on packaging industry trends.

Job Description:

• Packaging Engineers play a key role in making next generation Ford vehicles Capable of leading/supporting and executing packaging related projects from design through validation,,
• Define packaging material & type of vehicle parts for transportation,
• Ensure logistics efficiency with the help of packaging design,
• Develop packaging innovation and saving projects for responsible car line,
• Studying packaging proposal and calculate investment requirement for new project/customer,
• Support to solve safety, quality and logistic issues related to packaging,
• Collaborate and maintain cross-functional partnerships with Development Engineers, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations,
• Opportunity to work with global teams and awareness of technical trends and developments in the packaging industry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferably Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer,
• Packaging engineering and internal logistic experience is preffered,
• No restriction for travelling,
• Fluent in English,
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications,
• Produce high quality standards of work,
• Be a team player and have a flexible approach to work,
• Have good organizational ability Work efficiently and accurately.
