Job summary

Maersk in Turkey seeks an experienced Operational Excellence professional to drive standardized processes, improve system adoption and lead transformation initiatives across the European Logistics and Services network. You will bridge Operations, Product, Technology and Process Owners to identify improvements and deliver scalable, customer-focused solutions.

You will lead cross-functional projects, promote Lean thinking and use data-driven decision making to eliminate waste, boost productivity

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience within freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Proven experience in Operational Excellence, Process Excellence or Continuous Improvement roles.
• Strong knowledge of forwarding processes.
• Hands-on experience with freight forwarding platforms such as CargoWise or similar systems.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or structured problem‑solving methodologies.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading transformation and change initiatives.
• Ability to translate operational challenges into scalable process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives that improve productivity, quality, service performance and process compliance across the region.
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement sustainable improvements.
• Drive adoption of new systems, automation solutions and digital tools.
• Partner with technology and platform teams to improve user experience and business outcomes.
• Ensure regional processes and SOPs align with global standards.
• Reduce operational variation and promote best practices across countries.
• Serve as the key regional contact for process design, system enhancements and change requests.
• Support testing, deployment and implementation of new capabilities.
• Facilitate collaboration between Operations, Commercial, Product, Finance and Technology teams.
• Remove roadblocks and drive end-to-end process improvements.
• Promote Lean thinking, root-cause analysis and data-driven decision making.
• Share successful solutions and improvement initiatives across the network.
