Job summary

Maersk is seeking an EMR Supervisor based in Istanbul to lead Equipment Maintenance & Repair operations across our network, ensuring equipment availability, quality, cost control, and supplier performance.

You will collaborate with depots, terminals, vendors and operational teams, with travel as needed. Fluency in Turkish and English is required, and experience in logistics or shipping, along with a driving license, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in Equipment, Depot, Logistics, Shipping, or Supply Chain Operations.
• Strong supplier and performance management skills.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience driving operational excellence and cost control.
• Driving license.
• Fluent Turkish and Fluent English communication skills; Russian and Arabic are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily EMR operations and depot performance.
• Manage suppliers against KPIs, SLAs, quality, and safety standards.
• Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Conduct audits and ensure compliance with EMR policies and SOPs.
• Utilize data and analytics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational challenges.
