Job summary

Intertech Information Technology and Marketing Inc. in Fatih, Istanbul, seeks an experienced Network Engineer to design and operate bank network infrastructure.

You will ensure installation and operation of switches, routers, WLCs, and related devices across the bank network. The role requires CCNP-level knowledge, 3+ years of experience, and strong WAN/LAN/IP technology expertise, including Cisco Nexus, Python scripting, and ITIL-aligned processes.

Qualifications

• Graduated from Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Mathematics Departments or related field.
• Min. 3 years of experience.
• CCNP certificate holder or CCNP level knowledge preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of WAN-LAN-Internet technologies.
• Proficient in MPLS VPN-L3VPN-L2VPN-GetVPN-DMVPN.
• Proficient in DHCP, ARP, Spoofing, Spanning Tree terminologies.
• Advanced knowledge of Data Center Networking.
• Good experience with Cisco data center Nexus products.
• Knowledgeable in Python and scripting.
• Knowledge of Cisco ACI, VMware NSX.
• Preferably security knowledge: Load-Balancer, DDOS, WAF, SSLVPN.
• Familiar with network structures of financial institutions (BKM-KKB-IMKB-Mastercard-Swift-Bloomberg).

Responsibilities

• To ensure the installation and operation of Switch, Router, WLC, Packet Broker, QoS Appliance, NAC products in the bank network infrastructure.
• To design and implement IP planning and necessary network architecture.
• To prepare technical network documents.
• To understand internal and external customer needs and to plan accordingly.
• To make operational decisions regarding the areas of duty.
• To represent the company/team within and outside the company when necessary.
• To ensure system continuity in extraordinary situations regarding the areas of responsibility.
• To carry out duties in accordance with ITIL processes.
• To lead POC and Test activities.
• To have knowledge about the products under responsibility and contribute to product development.
• To take actions to meet deadlines, foresee risks and inform managers and project teams when necessary.

• To take the necessary actions to comply with the deadlines specified in the project plan, to foresee possible risks and to inform and escalation to the managers and project team when necessary
