Job summary

Intertech Information Technology and Marketing Inc. in Turkey seeks a senior Network Security Engineer to manage and secure our network infrastructure across teams.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, CCNA/CCNA Security or higher certifications, and hands-on expertise with firewalls, VPNs, and routing protocols. You will contribute to ITIL-aligned processes, document networks, and participate in POC testing for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of experience.
• Proficient in ICMP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, Telnet, Dynamic Routing protocols.
• Proficient in DHCP, ARP, Spoofing, Spanning Tree terminology.
• Good knowledge of Firewall, Load balancer, SSL VPN, IPSEC VPN, IPS technologies.
• Experienced in planning, installation and management activities related to security products.
• CCNA/CCNA Security, CCSA certified or proficient at that level.
• Preferably CCNP, CCSP or NSE certified.

Responsibilities

• Managing network security systems within the team's areas of responsibility.
• Resolving problems related to network security systems.
• Ensuring the continuity of SLA values defined for network security systems.
• Ensuring system continuity in case of emergencies related to the team's areas of responsibility.
• Communicating with manufacturers related to the areas of responsibility.
• Performing duties in accordance with ITIL processes.
• Preparing and keeping technical network documents up-to-date.
• Participating in POC and testing activities.
• Adhering to the deadlines specified in the project plan. Reporting any risk to managers and the team.
• Actively planning within the framework of Change Management.
• Having knowledge of the products under their responsibility, providing timely information on the product, and playing an active role in product development.
• Following up on requests from internal/external audits, inspections, and controls and ensuring that necessary actions are taken.

• Graduate of Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or related departments of universities,
• Minimum 7+ years of experience
