Job summary

TOFAŞ in Turkey's Marmara region is seeking a National Technical Coordinator to manage and coordinate dealer-reported product quality issues. You will liaise between dealers and factory quality and engineering teams, and ensure proper implementation of technical bulletins, repair procedures, and field actions.

The role requires engineering degrees, 5 years in automotive, advanced English, and travel capability.

Qualifications

• Engineering BSc and MSc degrees are preferrable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position in the automotive industry.
• English (Advanced level).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Collect dealer product quality reports, inspect issues and set incident priorities.
• Translate dealer reports and report to factory quality and engineering teams.
• Follow quality improvement studies and support with information and defective parts.
• Maintain correct application of technical bulletins and repair methods.
• Maintain correct application of field actions and support the field actions supervisor.
• Update the mandatory tools list and technical animation of the network for correct tool use.
• Technical animation of authorized dealer network for 'technical scoring' evaluation.
• Support Regional Technical Experts and CRM/legal teams on special files.

The purpose of the position;

National Technical Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating product quality issues reported by the dealer network, ensuring effective communication between dealers and factory quality/engineering teams, and supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives. This role analyzes dealer-reported incidents, prioritizes cases based on impact and frequency, and provides detailed technical reporting to the factory. The position ensures proper implementation of technical bulletins, repair procedures, and field actions across the authorized dealer network. It also supports technical evaluations, special quality studies, and performance monitoring activities.

• Collecting the product quality reports raised by dealers and inspecting the qualty issues in detail ; following the statistics of incidents and defining the priority of each incident; translating dealer reports and reporting to factory quality and engineering teams,
• Following the quality improvement studies from factory teams and continue supporting by supplying additional information and defective parts for further investigations,
• Maintaining correct application of technical bulletins and repair methods,
• Maintaining correct application of field actions and supporting the field actions supervisor,
• Updating the mandatory special tools list and technical animation of network for correct application of tools,
• Technical animation of authorized dealer network for "technical scoring" evaluation,
• Animation of swift dealers (best performance dealers chosen for special quality studies)
• Supporting the Regional Technical Experts,
• Supporting CRM and legal teams at special files (burn cases, airbag cases at traffic incidents etc.),

Specific responsibilities;

• Engineering BSc and MSc degrees are preferrable,
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position in the automotive industry,
• English (Advanced level),
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment,
• Have strong communication skills and human relations,
• Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to achieve goals under minimal supervision,
• Must be able to travel.
