Job summary

Ace Recruithouse is seeking an Accounting Supervisor for a manufacturing client in Esenyurt, Istanbul. The role oversees end-to-end accounting, with emphasis on manufacturing and cost accounting, IFRS, and tax declarations.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of accounting experience, ERP and MS Excel proficiency, and strong English communication. Based on European side residency preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/finance or related field.
• 7+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Experience in large-scale manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, BOM, inventory valuation, COGS, fixed assets, accruals, and sales-order accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting processes in line with legislation and policies.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of general accounting operations.
• Oversee manufacturing and cost accounting activities (standard costing, product costing, BOM, inventory valuation).
• Monitor production costs and reflect manufacturing activities accurately in records.
• Handle statutory chart of accounts, Turkish tax legislation, and tax declarations.
• Perform month-end and period-end closes with proper controls.
• Contribute to accounting process improvements and reporting.
• Support ERP optimization, implementation, and process improvement projects.
• Coordinate accounting activities with other teams for IPO preparation.
• Monitor IFRS, inflation accounting, and public-company requirements.
