Constantia Propak seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to own the company’s accounting operations, strengthen compliance and internal controls, and lead the accounting team. You will collaborate with local and international stakeholders including Group Accounting, FBS and Division Finance.

Responsibilities include leading closings, ensuring accuracy of financial records, and driving standardization and automation of finance processes.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of accounting/finance experience, 3+ years in a leadership role.
• SMMM certification, manufacturing experience and English proficiency are advantageous.

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to take ownership of Constantia Propak’s accounting operations, strengthen compliance and internal controls, develop the accounting team and support the continued improvement of our Finance processes. The person will work close with local Finance, Controlling, Treasury, Operations and international stakeholders across Group Accounting, FBS and Division Finance.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of financial records.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes in compliance with Turkish statutory requirements and Group reporting deadlines.
• Oversee accounting activities related to sales, purchasing, operating expenses, banking transactions, imports, exports, foreign currency transactions, fixed assets and period-end adjustments.
• Review balance sheet accounts and ensure timely reconciliations of customer, supplier, intercompany and general ledger accounts.
• Ensure compliance with Turkish tax legislation, statutory requirements and company policies, including tax declarations and VAT refund processes.
• Coordinate external audits, tax audits and certification processes while maintaining a strong internal control environment.
• Lead, coach and develop the accounting team, ensuring effective workload planning and professional growth.
• Drive process standardization, automation and continuous improvement initiatives across accounting and finance operations.
• Collaborate with local and international stakeholders, including Group Accounting, Division Finance and shared service teams.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of accounting and finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish statutory accounting, tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, including financial closing, tax filings, VAT refunds and external audits.
• Hands‑on SAP FI experience and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Good understanding of import and export accounting processes.
• Experience managing, developing and motivating accounting teams.
• Professional working proficiency in English and the ability to work effectively with international stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking, planning, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• SMMM certification, multinational manufacturing experience and finance transformation exposure are considered advantages.
