Job summary

Jotun in Gebze is seeking a maintenance professional to manage assets and coordinate preventive maintenance across facilities, ensuring safe and reliable operations.

You will plan activities for fire protection, HVAC, and utility systems, support emergency maintenance, and prepare reports; reading drawings and using MS Office are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in facility and machinery maintenance.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental awareness (HSEQ).
• Intermediate English proficiency preferred.
• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of HVAC and fire protection systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

Manage an assigned area or team by planning, organizing, and following up on maintenance of the assets and property to ensure reliable and cost-efficient operations and quality.

Job Description

• Plan and perform maintenance activities for various facility systems (fire protection, heating, cooling, etc.),
• Support emergency maintenance activities and personally intervene when necessary,
• Prepare and maintain reports of completed maintenance activities in the system,
• Contribute to root cause analysis of recurring or critical failures,
• Monitor and follow up on preventive maintenance activities,
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within maintenance processes,
• Coordinate with external service providers for maintenance and repair activities.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a Vocational High School, Technical High School, or Vocational School (Associate Degree) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field,
• Preferably with at least 3 years of experience in facility and machinery maintenance,
• Committed to occupational health and safety (HSEQ) awareness,
• Preferably possessing an intermediate level of English proficiency,
• Proficient in the effective use of MS Office,
• Residing in Gebze or on the Anatolian side of Istanbul.
