Job summary

Sika is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Gebze to develop and implement preventative maintenance for all equipment, including HVAC, pumps, and production machinery. You will diagnose issues and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires at least 3 years’ experience, an electrical/mechanical background, and proficiency in CMMS and AutoCAD. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for collaborating with production

Qualifications

• Graduated from Electrical-Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics departments.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Qualified Engineer with electrical and/or mechanical background.
• Good analytical, team leadership, and organizational skills.
• Teamwork, effective communication, and strong coordination ability.
• Autonomous and hands-on working style.
• Experience with Health and Safety legislation.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to lead and direct to support business strategy.
• Computer skills (MS Office, CMMS, AUTOCAD).
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for all equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues to support production.
• Manage maintenance schedules, repairs, and improvements for HVAC, pumps, motors, and production machinery.
• Coordinate with production to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and safety checks.
• Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Identify improvements in maintenance processes and equipment upgrades.
