Job summary

Yazaki Europe Middle East and Africa is seeking a Quality Engineer for our Gemlik plant in Bursa. You will manage production-line quality, keep QC plans up to date and monitor processes from start to finish.

You will conduct root-cause analyses, prepare 8D reports, implement corrective actions, and lead customer audits on automotive projects. Fluency in English and Turkish, an engineering degree, and at least two years in automotive quality are required; experience with PFMEA and 8D is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from university.
• At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically in Customer and Process Quality.
• Fluent in English and Turkish.
• Proficient with quality tools such as 8D and PFMEA.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the production line, you will keep quality control plans up to date and monitor quality processes on the lines from start to finish.
• Conduct customer and internal root cause analyses, prepare 8D reports, and implement permanent corrective and preventive actions on the shop floor.
• Manage direct, one-on-one communication with customers on global automotive projects; prepare for customer audits and lead the in-plant processes during audits.
• Actively participate in PFMEA studies; establish visual inspection and quality standards and integrate them into SOPs.
• Work closely with teams to convey engineering, product specifications, and technical information to the shop floor.

What will your job be about?

• Responsible for the production line, you will keep quality control plans up to date and monitor quality processes on the lines from start to finish
• You will conduct customer and internal root cause analyses, prepare 8D reports, and implement permanent corrective and preventive actions on the shop floor
• Manage direct, one-on-one communication with customers on global automotive projects; complete preparations prior to customer audits, organize in-plant processes during audits, and lead the customer through the process
• Actively participate in PFMEA studies; establish visual inspection and quality standards and integrate them into Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Work closely with teams to accurately convey engineering, product specifications, and technical information to the shop floor

What will you bring with you?

• Graduates of relevant engineering faculties at universities
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically in Customer and Process Quality
• Advanced proficiency in English & Turkish
• Practical mastery of quality tools such as 8D and PFMEA, as well as problem-solving techniques
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office
• A proactive and action-oriented work style
• Strong communication and persuasion skills; able to successfully manage crises and stress in a dynamic production environment
• Residing in or able to relocate to Bursa
