Job summary

TOLON is seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist in Turkey to support export-import operations, international transportation management, and customs clearance. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient cross-border shipments and accurate documentation managed by the Logistics and Foreign Trade Department.

The role requires at least five years in foreign trade and logistics, strong ERP experience (IFS preferred), advanced Excel, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in foreign trade and logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of export/import, customs, and international transportation processes.
• Experience organizing sea, land, and air freight shipments.
• Advanced ERP knowledge (IFS preferred).
• Advanced Excel.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Execute export and import operations.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate international transportation activities.
• Monitor and manage customs clearance procedures.
• Prepare, control, and maintain shipping and foreign trade documentation.
• Update and maintain records within the ERP system.
• Provide operational support and consultancy to customers regarding logistics and transportation processes.
• Coordinate and communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders.

Position Overview

The Logistics and Foreign Trade Department is seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to support operational sustainability in line with increasing business volume and new customer projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in export-import operations, international transportation management, and customs clearance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and manage export and import operations.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate international transportation activities.
• Monitor and manage customs clearance procedures.
• Prepare, control, and maintain shipping and foreign trade documentation.
• Update and maintain relevant records within the ERP system.
• Provide operational support and consultancy to customers regarding logistics and transportation processes.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in foreign trade and logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of export, import, customs, and international transportation processes.
• Proven experience in organizing sea, land, and air freight shipments.
• Advanced ERP system knowledge and practical experience (IFS experience is preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Advanced level of English (written and spoken).
• Additional foreign language skills will be considered an advantage.
