Job summary

Uplift is assisting a global manufacturing client expanding its Türkiye operations with a new production facility in İzmir. The Lean Specialist will drive lean manufacturing initiatives to boost productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency on blade production lines.

The role requires 5–7 years of lean experience, strong problem-solving and project management skills, and fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing or related field; master's degree is a plus.
• 5–7 years experience in lean manufacturing implementation/execution, preferably in blade manufacturing or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of lean tools and methodologies (5S, value stream mapping, standard work, root cause analysis).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive change.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluency in English; German or Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process Improvement: Conduct value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and other lean tools to eliminate inefficiencies.
• Kaizen Events: Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops.

• Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs to track progress and align with goals.
• Collaboration: Work with production, quality, and engineering to implement lean projects.
• Documentation: Maintain records of lean activities, improvements, and results.

This role will be responsible for implementing and sustaining lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lean Implementation: Develop and implement lean strategies and initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
