Job summary

Arvato is seeking a detail-oriented Process Improvement Specialist to analyze and optimize operational processes across the organization. You will lead improvement projects, apply Lean methodologies, and drive cost reductions while sustaining quality.

You will monitor KPIs, develop dashboards in Power BI, and collaborate with Operations and IT on digitalization, automation, and SOPs. A Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, MIS, Statistics, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in Lean Manufacturing or Process Improvement.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Management, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma.
• Experience with data analytics, KPI management, and performance reporting.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Excel; SQL knowledge preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational processes and implement improvement projects to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Apply Lean methodologies (Kaizen, 5S) to improve process performance.
• Identify bottlenecks and root causes; develop and follow up action plans.
• Monitor KPIs, perform performance analyses, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support process improvements with data analytics and prepare reports/dashboards.
• Conduct analyses related to performance, capacity, workforce productivity, and process losses using Power BI, Excel, and SQL.
• Collaborate with Operations, IT, and other teams on digitalization, automation, and system projects.
• Assist in creating, updating, and sustaining SOPs.
• Report the impact of projects on operations, finance, and quality to management.
• Foster continuous improvement culture across the organization and mentor staff.
• Ensure compliance with Integrated Management System, Information Security, Quality, Environmental, and OH&S standards.

• Improve process performance by applying Lean methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S, and Problem-Solving Techniques.
• Identify bottlenecks, root causes of errors, and areas of inefficiency within processes; develop and follow up on action plans.
• Regularly monitor operational KPIs, conduct performance analyses, and identify areas for improvement.
• Support process improvement activities through data analytics and prepare reports and dashboards.
• Conduct analyses related to performance, capacity, workforce productivity, and process losses using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and SQL.
• Collaborate with Operations, IT, and other support teams to contribute to digitalization, automation, and system development projects.
• Support the creation, updating, and sustainability of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Analyze the operational, financial, and quality impacts of process improvement projects and report findings to relevant management.
• Contribute to the development and dissemination of a continuous improvement culture across the organization by guiding and supporting employees.
• Comply with the requirements of the Integrated Management System, Information Security, Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety standards.

General Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Management Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Process Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Management, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge and experience in data analytics, KPI management, and performance reporting.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Excel; preferably with working knowledge of SQL.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and project management skills.
