Job summary

Deutsche Post in Turkey seeks an engineering professional to provide expertise and methodologies for improving business activities, workflows, staffing, handling methods and equipment. You will support country management on facilities and productivity issues, manage day-to-day engineering projects and ensure ROI on facilities and process equipment.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field is required.

The Job

• Provide engineering expertise, techniques and methodologies to assist in identifying and implementing improvements in the areas of business activities, sequence of operations/work flows, staffing, handling methods and equipment
• Provide field support and expertise to country management on facilities and related productivity issues.
• Manage the day to day based activities on Engineering Projects ensuring that there is an optimal return on investments (facilities, process equipment) and implementation of regional optimisation projects
• Ensure cost effective selection of facilities, equipment and layouts. Identify, evaluate & implement improvements in equipment & processes and handling operations
• Responsible for the deployment of various engineering tools developed by regional office to the facilities in Turkey

The Person

• Bachelor’s degree graduation, preferably in related fields such as; Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Process Engineering or types of Engineering
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• B class driving licence
• Analytical thinking ability with strong planning and organizational skills
• Self motivated and result oriented
• Comfortable in communicating with diverse individuals
• Teamwork oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work under challenging circumstances and environment
• Adaptable to flexible working hours
• Good level of MS Office applications, preferably Power Platform and Automation tools
• No travel restrictions
