Job summary

Hitachi Energy Turkey is seeking a Production Engineering Specialist for the Dudullu-DT (distribution transformers) factory. The role focuses on analyzing production data, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulations.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to improve safety, quality, productivity, and OEE while driving cost-saving initiatives and training operators on new processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related engineering fields.
• Preferably minimum 2 years of experience in production, factory and field experience.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office and SAP tools. (Good to have AutoCAD)
• Strong persuasion and communication skills, self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
• Fluency in both written and spoken Turkish and English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data and identify opportunities for safety, quality, productivity and efficiency improvements.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to resolve operational challenges.
• Monitor equipment performance and work with maintenance teams to improve machine reliability and OEE.
• Participate in PFMEA, control plans, risk assessments, and process audits.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and track project savings.
• Train operators and production personnel on new processes and best practices.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external & internal regulations, procedures & guidelines.

Your Background
