Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Istanbul presents an opportunity for a Production Engineering Specialist to analyze production data, optimize processes, and work with cross-functional teams to enhance safety, quality, and overall efficiency.

The role requires a Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electrical engineering background with 2+ years in production. Proficiency in MS Office and SAP is preferred; AutoCAD is a plus. Fluency in Turkish and English is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Preferably 2+ years in production or factory environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP; AutoCAD a plus.
• Strong communication, proactive problem-solving, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data to improve safety, quality, productivity and efficiency.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, SOPs and work instructions.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Monitor equipment performance and support maintenance to improve OEE.
• Support PFMEA, control plans, risk assessments and process audits.
• Train operators on new processes and best practices.

We are looking for a "Production Engineering Specialist" who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in our Dudullu-DT (distribution transformers) factory with below qualifications;

How you will make an impact:

Analyze production data and identify opportunities for safety, quality, productivity and efficiency improvements.

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to resolve operational challenges.

Monitor equipment performance and work with maintenance teams to improve machine reliability and OEE.

Participate in PFMEA, control plans, risk assessments, and process audits.

Support cost reduction initiatives and track project savings.

Train operators and production personnel on new processes and best practices.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external & internal regulations, procedures & guidelines.

Your Background:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related engineering fields.

Preferably minimum 2 years of experience in production, factory and field experience.

Knowledge in Microsoft Office and SAP tools. (Good to have Autocad)

Strong persuasion and communication skills, self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven. An effective listener with a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving and a high level of motivation and drive.

Fluency in both written and spoken Turkish and English.
