Job summary
Jobtailor in Turkey is looking for an experienced software engineer and technical leader to set the technical direction and lead the design, development and deployment of scalable software solutions across the organisation.
You will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, work with Product Managers, Architects and stakeholders to define solutions, estimate work and prioritise development activities.
Qualifications
- Experienced software engineer and technical leader.
- Strong track record delivering complex enterprise applications.
- Experience designing secure, scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Knowledge of modern software engineering practices across .NET, cloud platforms, containers, databases, CI/CD, testing and observability.
- Experience with C#/.NET and VB.NET.
- Knowledge of AWS, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Kubernetes, Docker and RDS.
- Ability to move between architecture, hands-on engineering and strategic discussions.
- Curiosity about AI, LLMs and agentic development.
- Experience with AI coding assistants or AI-driven development workflows is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction and lead the design, development and deployment of scalable software solutions across the organisation.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to engineers
- Work with Product Managers, Architects and stakeholders to understand business needs, define technical solutions, estimate work and prioritise development activities
- Drive high standards for code quality, security, performance, scalability, reliability and maintainability
- Review and challenge technical decisions and ensure alignment with architectural and engineering standards
- Troubleshoot complex technical problems, identify risks and drive continuous improvement
- Help teams adopt modern DevOps, CI/CD, testing and observability practices
- Explore and apply AI-assisted development and agentic engineering practices
- Establish effective uses of AI for code generation, refactoring, testing, documentation, code review, analysis and developer workflows
- Ensure AI-generated solutions meet standards for security, quality, maintainability and reliability
- Contribute to the evolution of engineering practices and shape AI-enabled software development
