Job summary

Koroplast is seeking a Junior Cost Controller to join its CFO organization in Turkey. The role focuses on product costing, SAP costing support, and cost-based pricing for Sales & Marketing teams, with responsibilities spanning standard cost roll-ups, variance analyses, and profitability assessments across SKU, category, and channel levels.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance or related fields and 1–5 years of cost controlling experience, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
• 1-5 years of experience in cost controlling, commercial finance, pricing, FP&A, procurement analysis, or relevant internship experience.
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments is a plus.
• SAPCO knowledge is a strong advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, SUMIFS, XLOOKUP, cost formulas).
• Basic knowledge of costing methodologies, COGS, contribution margin, and pricing logic.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to learn cost and pricing processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills and proactive working style.

Responsibilities

• Product Costing & SAP Costing Support.
• Support annual standard cost roll-ups and periodic cost revisions.
• Analyze variances between standard and actual production costs and prepare reports for senior management.
• Prepare cost-based pricing for Sales & Marketing teams.
• Conduct SKU-level, category-level, and channel-level profitability and contribution margin analysis.
• Prepare reports showing the impact of raw material price changes and FX movements on product margins.
• Support new product development (NPD) projects with cost simulations and target margin validation.
• Analyze the profitability of promotional activities and customer-specific deals.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts for COGS and direct production costs.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Procurement, Sales, and R&D teams to collect and validate cost-related data.
• Ensure consistent and accurate data flow in SAP and other reporting systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing cost transparency and pricing efficiency.
