Job summary

Guess Europe Sagl invites applications for a Jr. Accounting Specialist in Turkey. The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, month-end closings, VAT and statutory filings, and intercompany reconciliations while learning our financial processes and corporate standards.

Ideal candidates hold a related bachelor's degree, demonstrate strong English skills, and show meticulous, proactive problem-solving with confidentiality and organization. Prior Oracle familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support the Accounting team in daily operations and month‑end closing processes.
• Record, reconcile, and monitor invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Ensure accuracy and proper classification of general ledger entries.
• Assist in the collection and accounts receivable aging process.
• Support the control and reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Turkish accounting regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory declarations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for audit purposes.
• Organize and maintain digital and physical financial documentation.
• Assist in updating internal accounting procedures and manuals.
• Provide support for other administrative and finance-related tasks as needed.
