Job summary

ZTE Corporation in Istanbul (Fatih) is seeking a diligent accounting professional to manage daily finance activities in line with Turkish standards. You will support tax declarations, reconciliations, and month-end closing, handling payments and banking, invoicing, and documentation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or related field and at least 2 years of experience, with strong ownership, independence after guidance, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting and finance experience in Türkiye.
• Good knowledge of Turkish accounting and basic tax practices.
• Hands-on experience with accounting, banking, payments and month-end closing is preferred.
• Experience in an international or multinational company is a plus.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and finance activities in compliance with Turkish accounting standards, tax regulations and company policies.
• Support monthly tax declarations, including VAT1, VAT2, WHT, Stamp Tax, GEKAP and other local tax requirements.
• Review accounting entries and supporting documents and perform regular account reconciliations.
• Handle daily banking and payment processes, including vendor, tax, salary and HQ payments.
• Follow up import-related accounting, customs payments and supporting documentation.
• Issue sales and other invoices and follow up related debit/credit notes.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities and financial reporting.
