We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Istanbul and take an active role in managing the company's accounting and financial operations.

This position is ideal for a hands‑on finance professional who is comfortable managing day‑to‑day accounting processes while also contributing to reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, cash flow management and financial analysis.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial information, maintaining effective accounting controls and providing management with timely financial insights to support business decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting and finance.
• Experience working within an international or multinational organization will be considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial processes and Turkish tax regulations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the company’s daily accounting operations, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
• Maintain accurate records of revenues, refunds, purchases, sales, expenses and banking transactions.
• Perform and review bank, revenue and account reconciliations and follow up on any identified discrepancies.
• Ensure accounting records and supporting documentation are complete, properly maintained and compliant with local requirements.
• Manage electronic invoicing processes and ensure the appropriate filing and organization of accounting documentation.
• Coordinate the preparation and submission of periodic tax declarations, including VAT, corporate income tax and withholding tax.
• Follow tax calendars and payment deadlines to ensure timely compliance with all statutory obligations.
• Work closely with external tax consultants, auditors and other financial advisors, providing the information and documentation required.
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual budgets and monitor actual performance against approved budgets.
• Analyse financial results and budget deviations, highlighting relevant trends, risks and areas for improvement.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, as well as petty cash and banking activities.
• Prepare, monitor and regularly update cash flow forecasts.
• Prepare periodic financial and management reports, providing clear and accurate information to support decision‑making.
• Participate in month‑end and year‑end closing activities and contribute to the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Support other business and administrative processes related to purchasing, contracts and inventory management when necessary.
