Job summary

Lastik Burada is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to own end-to-end accounting, ensure timely month- and year-end closings, and coordinate audits. The role combines hands-on operations with leadership of the accounting team.

You will oversee Turkish tax compliance, statutory reporting under Turkish standards, and IFRS reporting, while driving process improvements and ERP enhancements alongside Finance, Tax, and Payroll teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field required.

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to take ownership of our end-to-end accounting operations.

The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely accounting processes, statutory compliance, financial closing and audit coordination, while also leading the accounting team and remaining actively involved in day-to-day operations.

We are looking for a hands-on accounting professional who combines strong technical expertise with a practical, solution-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and support IFRS reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Turkish tax regulations, local accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate external audits, tax audits and independent audit processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax declarations and other statutory filings.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and proactively resolve accounting issues.
• Strengthen accounting policies, procedures, internal controls and financial governance.
• Partner closely with Finance, Tax, Payroll and other relevant business functions.
• Support process improvement, automation and ERP enhancement initiatives.
• Lead and develop the accounting team while remaining actively involved in daily accounting operations.
• Prepare regular accounting and financial reports for management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional accounting experience, including experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• CPA (SMMM) qualification is required.
• Previous experience in a Big4 audit firm is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish accounting standards, tax legislation and statutory reporting requirements.
• Solid knowledge and experience in IFRS.
• Advanced hands-on knowledge of Logo Tiger is required.
• Strong experience in month-end/year-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, tax declarations and statutory reporting.
• Experience managing external and independent audit processes.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven team management and leadership experience.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented and comfortable being actively involved in day-to-day accounting operations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of English is preferred.
