Job summary

WLG in Izmir, Türkiye, seeks a configuration management specialist to own the integrity of running configurations, changes, naming standards and audits. The role blends process, tooling and investigative work in a full-time, on-site capacity.

Eligibility to work in Türkiye is required; occasional support for a second site ~35 km away may occur. You will track configuration items, verify changes, and maintain the asset register while ensuring compliance with ITIL change and configuration

Qualifications

• Three years of practical work across the configuration management disciplines.
• Experience with ITIL change and configuration management practice.
• Hands-on IT service management tooling experience with BMC Remedy ITSM 9.1+.
• Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Apply tools and processes that track, log and correct information about configuration items.
• Verify and approve changes, protecting assets from unauthorised change.
• Enforce naming and identification rules for objects, environments, documents and releases.
• Audit information accuracy and rectify audit findings.
• Develop, document and implement changes from requests for change.
• Monitor and log delivered service against SLAs.
• Create and maintain an accurate asset register with useful reports.
• Carry out basic risk management and maintain risk records.
• Apply standard data modelling and explain structures to users.
