Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of practical work across the configuration management disciplines.
• Experience with IT service management tooling and ITIL processes.
• Familiarity with databases like SQL Server and Oracle.
• Knowledge of naming and versioning standards and change control.

Responsibilities

• Apply tools and processes that track, log and correct information about configuration items.
• Verify and approve changes, protecting assets from unauthorised change.
• Ensure naming and identification rules for objects, environments and releases.
• Audit information accuracy and correct audit findings.
• Develop, document and implement changes from requests for change.
• Monitor and log service delivery against SLAs.
• Create and maintain an accurate asset register with reports and analyses.
• Carry out basic risk management and maintain risk records.
• Explain data modelling techniques and structures to users.
