Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to ensure reliable operation, maintenance, and support of IT systems across the Istanbul region. You will provide on-site and remote assistance, handle hardware and software issues, and contribute to regional IT initiatives.

You will work with global IT teams, follow security and compliance guidelines, document configurations, and deliver timely resolutions while communicating effectively with users and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of IT operations, technical support, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server fundamentals, network fundamentals, and end-user device management.
• Hands-on experience with hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally.
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work on-site and travel within the designated region when required.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional and global IT teams to align with Johnson Controls’ technology standards and security requirements.
• Deliver hands-on support at the Istanbul office and customer/partner locations when required.
• Apply structured IT incident management and problem-solving methodologies to ensure timely resolution.
• Use company-approved tools and platforms to monitor system performance, track tickets, and manage configurations.
• Follow cybersecurity and compliance guidelines to safeguard systems and data.
• Communicate clearly with users, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth IT operations.
• Work independently while escalating critical issues to senior engineers or global support teams when necessary.
