Job summary

Volkan Firefighting Vehicles is seeking an International Sales and Marketing Specialist to maintain and expand our global customer portfolio across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. You will manage communications via email and phone, coordinate bids and tender processes, and lead business development with distributors.

The role requires a university degree in Economics/Business/International Trade, fluent English, and willingness to travel internationally; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, or International Trade.
• Fluency in English; additional languages (French/Arabic/Chinese/Spanish) preferred.
• 5+ years in international sales/marketing, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong communication, confidence, discipline, and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the existing international customer portfolio and expand it by acquiring new customers.
• Maintain communication with existing customers and increase sales.
• Manage communication with customers via email and phone.
• Undertake regular international business trips to visit existing and new customers.
• Manage the bidding and tender preparation processes for international projects.
• Engage in business development activities with distributors and other sales channels.
• Prepare, analyze, and report on regional/country reports, and ensure necessary actions are taken to meet targets.
• Organize participation in international trade shows and represent the company at these events.

General Qualifications

• Graduates of university departments such as Economics, Business Administration, International Trade, Foreign Trade, etc.,
• Capable of communicating with foreign clients and companies both in writing and verbally; possessing a good command of English for Europe, Asia, and the Middle East and candidates who, in addition to English have a good command of French OR Arabic OR Chinese OR Spanish will be preferred,
• With at least 5 years of experience in international sales and marketing activities, preferably with experience at manufacturing companies in similar sectors,
• Strong communication skills, high self-confidence, and strong work discipline,
• Able to take responsibility and possess problem-solving skills,
• Strong interpersonal skills, high persuasiveness, team-oriented, and strong follow-through ability,
• Competent in problem-solving and analytical thinking,
• Keeps abreast of industry and market developments to continuously update their knowledge,
• Capable of conducting research activities related to market analysis and commercial intelligence,
• No restrictions on domestic or international travel,
• Experience in international trade shows and overseas travel, able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment,
