Job summary

DeFacto, a global fashion brand with a strong presence in 90+ countries, seeks an experienced internal auditor to perform operational, financial and compliance audits across Turkey and abroad. You will identify key risks, evaluate internal controls, and report findings with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in internal or external audit (preferably Big Four).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, MIS or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, reporting, and collaborative team-player skills.
• Excel proficiency; data analytics experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP and/or other ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; ability to conduct audit interviews and communicate with international stakeholders.
• Foreign language skills (Arabic, Russian) are assets.
• Willingness to travel regularly domestically and internationally.
• CIA certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational, financial and compliance audit engagements in Turkey and abroad.
• Identify risks and controls; evaluate effectiveness of internal controls, governance and risk management.
• Assess compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies during audits.
• Report findings and provide value-added recommendations to improve controls.
• Conduct follow-up audits to verify management actions.
• Prepare and organize audit working papers with documentation.
• Perform ad hoc audits and assist in investigations and fraud audits.
