This role is responsible for planning, managing, and developing the company’s indirect procurement activities in line with business objectives, while ensuring that procurement needs are met on time and at optimum cost.
What You'll Be Doing?
- Planning, managing, and developing all indirect procurement activities in line with company objectives,
- Developing and implementing indirect procurement strategies,
- Managing end-to-end supplier sourcing, evaluation, request for quotation (RFQ), tendering, contracting, and procurement processes,
- Monitoring supplier performance, building sustainable supplier relationships, and developing alternative supplier options,
- Managing CAPEX procurement processes in coordination with technical teams and relevant business functions,
- Ensuring that requirements across all indirect procurement categories, including technical materials, laboratory equipment, IT, fleet, office supplies, and other indirect needs, are met on time and at optimum cost,
- Managing the procurement of advertising, media, and creative agency services,
- Managing the procurement of promotional materials, corporate branded products, printed materials, and marketing support materials,
- Monitoring the procurement budget, developing cost reduction initiatives, and identifying savings opportunities,
- Analyzing procurement processes and leading projects to improve efficiency and drive process improvements,
- Ensuring that procurement processes comply with company procedures, ethical standards, and applicable regulations,
- Leading and developing the team and monitoring team performance.
Which Profile Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field,
- Minimum 8 years of experience in indirect procurement, preferably within manufacturing companies, including at least 3 years of team management responsibility,
- Experience in managing a broad range of indirect procurement categories, including:
- Technical materials and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations),
- Laboratory equipment and consumables,
- Warehouse and operational equipment,
- IT hardware and services,
- Office and general supplies,
- Vehicle leasing and fleet management,
- Professional services, events, security, cleaning, and similar service categories,
- Advertising, media, and creative agency services,
- Promotional materials, corporate branded products, printed materials, and marketing support products,
- Experience in supplier selection, tendering, contract management, and commercial negotiations,
- Hands-on experience in cost optimization, budget management, and process improvement initiatives,
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across different business functions,
- Strong analytical thinking, planning, and problem-solving skills,
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP,
- Proficiency in MS Office applications,
- Good command of English is preferred.
