Job summary

ZTE Istanbul is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Manager to join its Legal Department. You will support the implementation of legal and compliance strategies, provide day-to-day legal guidance to business teams, and help ensure that the company’s operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Qualifications

• A law degree and strong understanding of legal and regulatory matters relevant to business operations.
• At least 2 years of in-house legal experience, preferably in contract management, governance, compliance, regulatory affairs, and dispute resolution.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Chinese is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, monitor, and manage commercial contracts throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Provide legal advice on tenders, bidding processes, and contract performance.
• Monitor relevant laws and regulations affecting the company’s business and advise stakeholders.
• Maintain, organize, and archive legal and contractual documentation.
• Support legal risk assessments and related documentation processes.
• Maintain and update corporate books, records, and official company documents.
• Draft and review Board resolutions, minutes, and other corporate documents.
• Coordinate notarization, legalization, and registrations with authorities.
• Support data protection, ABAC, export control initiatives and regulatory programs.
• Manage relationships with external counsel and monitor legal fees and expenses.
• Provide day-to-day legal support to Sales, Commercial, Logistics, HR, Finance, Procurement, and other teams.
