Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Legal Leader to serve as a strategic advisor and a key partner to regional stakeholders.

This is a highly visible leadership role for a commercially minded legal professional who thrives in complex environments, influences business decisions, and enables growth while safeguarding the organization.

The Opportunity

As Legal Leader, you will be entrusted with overseeing the legal function for Turkey, providing strategic guidance on critical business decisions, regulatory matters, governance, employment law, commercial transactions, compliance, and risk management.

You will work directly with senior business leaders, regional functional leaders, and external stakeholders, ensuring legal excellence while helping the business move forward with confidence and agility.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead legal advisor.
• Partner with the Country Leadership Team on strategic business initiatives and organizational priorities.
• Provide commercially focused legal counsel on employment law, corporate governance, compliance, data privacy, litigation, and contractual matters.
• Lead complex contract negotiations and support business growth initiatives.
• Anticipate, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
• Oversee litigation and external counsel relationships.
• Drive a strong culture of ethics, integrity, compliance, and responsible business conduct.
• Collaborate closely with regional and global legal teams on cross-border matters and strategic projects.

What We're Looking For

• Law degree and admission to the Turkish Bar.
• Significant experience in an in-house legal leadership role and/or a leading law firm.
• Deep expertise in Employment Law, Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Compliance, and Contract Management.
• Experience working within an international and matrix organization is highly valued.
• Fluency in English.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
