Job summary

TEMSA, a leading bus manufacturer, seeks an experienced HSE professional to ensure regulatory compliance, develop and maintain HSE systems, and lead audits across our Adana facilities.

The role focuses on risk assessments, incident investigations, training, and emergency preparedness. Knowledge of ISO 45001/14001 and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential for continuous safety improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of environmental processes including wastewater treatment and waste management.
• Hands-on with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems.
• Experience with audits, training, and continuous improvement.
• Contractor management and permit-to-work systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations and company standards.
• Manage permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain HSE procedures and systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper documentation.
• Lead internal audits and support external audits.
• Deliver HSE training sessions for employees and contractors.
• Support incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Manage emergency response plans and drills.
• Monitor and report HSE KPIs.
• Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Coordinate environmental compliance activities including wastewater treatment, emissions monitoring, and waste management.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the factory environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve HSE performance.

What is the job waiting for you?

• Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations and company standards

• Contribute to process safety and environmental activities (PSM, ATEX, waste management,chemical safety regulations)
• Coordinate environmental compliance activities, including wastewater treatment plant operations, emissions monitoring, waste management, and environmental reporting.
• Manage contractor HSE performance and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
• Support Management of Change (MOC) processes and process safety improvement initiatives.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the factory environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve HSE performance

What we are looking for?

• Minimum 5 years of Health & Safety (HSE) experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong experience in environmental processes, including wastewater treatment and waste management
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and incident investigation
• Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems
• Occupational Health & Safety Certificate (Class A or B)
• Working proficiency in English (written and spoken) (preferred)
• Experience in audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience with contractor management and permit-to-work systems
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Based in Adana or willing to relocate
