Job summary

Çalık Enerji is seeking a Project Control Specialist for the Iraq Erbil Wastewater Treatment Plant project. You will manage detailed, resource-loaded schedules in Primavera P6 and coordinate with PMT and subcontractors to ensure progress data accuracy and schedule integrity.

Expected to analyze cost/schedule variances, support EST/RTD processes, and integrate estimating, cost control, and risk management. Fluency in English and strong stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in planning, scheduling and cost control on large EPC projects.
• Experience with change and risk management processes preferred.
• Experience in multi-national consortium projects preferred.
• Advanced Primavera P6 user.
• Proficient in MS Office with strong Excel skills.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Strong communication with PMT, staff, clients, vendors and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update the detailed resource-loaded project schedule in Primavera P6.
• Coordinate with PMT and subcontractors to validate progress data.
• Analyze cost and schedule variances and propose mitigations.
• Support integration among estimating, cost control, planning, change and risk management.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly project reports.
• Prepare and control progress certifications and invoices.
• Assist in quarterly EAC and monthly cash flow analysis.
• Support project risk and change management processes.
• Prepare final closeout reports with lessons learned.
• Support quarterly budget and risk assessment documents.
• Conduct project profitability and delay analyses.
• Assist with ERP implementation (SAP) related to project controls.
• Perform CPI, SPI and other performance analyses.

Qualifications;

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering,
• Minimum 3 years of experience in planning, scheduling and cost control on large-scale power generation, oil & gas, water treatment or similar industrial EPC projects,
• Experience with change management and risk management processes preferred,
• Experience in multi-national consortium-based projects preferred,
• Advanced Primavera P6 user,
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools with expertise in Excel,
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken,
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences including but not limited to the Project Management Team (PMT), staff, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Job Description:

• Prepare, control, and update the detailed resource-loaded project schedule in Primavera P6 in accordance with company procedures and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with PMT and subcontractors to obtain and validate progress data to accurately update the progress measurement system and maintain and update the schedule.
• Analyze cost and schedule variances from plan, identify delays, and communicate reasons for variances and proposed mitigation plans to the center office project control team
• Support full integration between the estimating, cost control, planning/scheduling, change management, risk management, and document control functions.
• Prepare project reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and corporate management reports.
• Prepare and control progress payment certifications and invoices to/from subcontractors and the client.
• Facilitate the preparation and analysis of quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) reports and monthly cash flows.
• Facilitate project risk management and change management processes.
• Prepare comprehensive final closeout reports, including lessons learned and benchmarks for information repository.
• Support Project Team for preparing quarterly CTC budget and risk assessment documents.
• Project Profit/Loss and delay analysis.
• Prepare and support role for project ERP implementation (SAP).
• Knowledge in project performance analysis (CPI, SPI calculations etc.).
